Fun with figurine display boxes - part 4

Having blogged about the uses of other popular plastic figurine display boxes (Type 1a & 1b, Type 2 & 3, Type 4 & 5) sold at Daiso, here we have Type 6 figurine display box.  I find that it’s the most versatile box of all!

Ponyville mini shelves display.

You can use it vertically like a series of mini shelves to display your collectible figurines.  The downside is that this display method is not dust free.

When you have many of these Type 6 display boxes, you can build and stack up a series of shelves in many shapes, preferably against a back support for better stability.

You can also place the boxes horizontally to segregate and organise your small stationery pieces on your desk or to store in your drawer.  The boxes are designed to be stacked up horizontally as well!  If you place the boxes horizonally with the open ’shelves’ faced down, the boxes can become a clear plastic ’stage’ for your collectibles!

If you really want to see much more various creative uses of all the figurine display boxes that I’ve blogged about so far, you can visit a toy store called Toy Outpost (situated at Plaza Singapura, 7th floor, diagonally opposite the Cinema box office).  It rents out locker-style shelf space to merchants to sell their toys and other items.  Many merchants sell tiny collectible figurines on consignment there and they use lots of different figurine display boxes as props to display their wares.

I also have some My Little Pony and Pokemon toys for sale there.  If you are keen to check out my sale items in person, they can be viewed in lockers 28E & 28F at Toy Outpost.  Just seek the help of the friendly store personnel at Toy Outpost if you need to examine the ponies up close or purchase them!
