It has been more than 6 months since the Iron Man 2 movie was screened in our local cinemas.  We are now at the tail end of its toyline being sold in Singapore departmental stores.  By this coming Christmas or earlier, the remaining unsold Iron Man 2 toys will end up in clearance sales, like the 2009 G.I.Joe movie toys that went before them.

Even though the movie craze has long been over, there are still some more waves of Iron Man 2 movie action figures (3.75 inch in height) to be released by Hasbro at mass retail before this toyline finally ends its retail run.  Wave 6 (seen above) of the Movie series contains both new and repeated figures from earlier waves.

If you collect these toys, be on the lookout from now till January 2011 for clearance sales to take place to get hold of the figures you want, before they disappear from the mass retail scene forever!

Happy Iron Man 2 movie toys collecting!

Note that the rear lights are NOT painted red for this figure.  I happened to have some red stickers which I cut to fit into those light slots!

The brownish splashes on the toy are painted on to resemble mud or sand stains, plus some silver “scratch” marks across the door.

The car mode photos for Bumblebee are coming up soon!

Recently, I picked up a loose piece each of Transformers Hunt for the Decepticons (HFTD) “Rampage among the Ruins” (RATR) Deluxe Ravage and Deluxe Bumblebee toys (see above).  They were bought from a stall at the bazaar held at the atrium of SCAPE 2 Saturdays ago.

The seller bought the RATR 3 pack from overseas just for RATR Deluxe Rampage toy and didn’t want the other 2 figures.  Hence I was happy to buy them from him!  It was a chance encounter of the place for me.  With that, I possibly became one of the first handful of collectors in Singapore to own a RATR Deluxe Ravage toy!

Well I was distracted by the near loss of my blog last week to be in any great mood to blog about my RATR find, and when I finally resolved that matter, I had to re-blog a couple of the latest postings that were lost after the blog restoration had been done.

Photos for both my RATR Deluxe Ravage and Deluxe Bumblebee will be posted here soon.  Be back soon to view them!
