Thor Deluxe action figures - Movie series waves 1-2

As the live action Thor movie comes closer to being screened in local & global cinemas soon (end April 2011 in Singapore and early May 2011 worldwide), we start to see its movie toyline appear in our local departmental stores from this month onwards.

The following Thor Deluxe sets consists of 3,75-inch action figures that are packed with more accessories than the normal single pack action figures of the same scale.  By and large, getting the single packs will be sufficient, unless you are gunning for seemingly Deluxe pack exclusive figures like Heimdall.

I’ve seen these toys in person already and they look very detailed and quite screen accurate for their sizes.  But I do not appreciate the overall price increase by Hasbro Singapore on nearly all their 3.75-inch action figures recently, even on the passe Iron Man 2 movie figures.  Nevertheless, I look forward to watching the Thor movie when it’s released on big screen.  Happy waiting to you as well!

DOTM Decepticon toys preview & video reviews

Here we have the video reviews of some main Decepticon toys from the upcoming third Transformers movie - Dark Of The Moon (DOTM).  I’m looking forward to seeing these in our retail stores too, though I may not buy so many DOTM toys this time, compared to my purchases of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen (ROTF) toys back in 2009.  Nevertheless, it’s always great to have new toys to admire online.  Happy viewing!

DOTM Autobot toys preview & video reviews

With the third Transformers movie - “Dark Of The Moon” or DOTMscheduled to hit big screens worldwide in July 2011, its movie toy photos and reviews have already been popping up online for all to view.  I’ve found the video reviews of the main Autobot characters that we shall be seeing in the DOTM movie.  It looks like I will be hyped up by the excitement of seeing these new toys in retail stores soon, just like what I went through around this time of the year back in 2009, LOL!

DOTM Deluxe Bumblebee toy video review

I tend to like most of the Deluxe versions of the movie Bumblebee toys, so I think I might be picking up this one when he becomes available at mass retail here.  I just love Bumblebee!

DOTM Deluxe Sideswipe toy video review

Like how many other fans and collectors feel, the major letdown of this toy is the lack of silver paint on the car.  I can live with the lack of floor board beneath the seats, but the non-silver paint color may deter me from getting this fellow.  I shall wait to see this toy in person first.

DOTM Deluxe Ratchet toy video review

I prefer having this guy as a Voyager class toy.  Since there is very little major differences between DOTM Ratchet and the original one from the first Transformers movie (Transformers The Movie or TFTM), I’m happy with just having my current TFTM Voyager version.

DOTM Voyager Ironhide toy video review

Similar to my comments for Ratchet, I’m also very satisfied with my TFTM Voyager Ironhide for now!

DOTM Voyager Optimus Prime toy video review

The best Voyager movie version of Optimus Prime has to be the current Voyager one from the Hunt For The Decepticons (HFTD) or Reveal The Shield (RTS) series - Battle Blades Optimus Prime.  This one’s all right to me, if you like all those big guns that the DOTM figures tend to come with.  I’m not a fan of those extra big guns attached on the robots or their vehicle modes.

Nevertheless, I’m still quite excited about the movie and look forward to watching in the cinemas in this coming July. Happy waiting for the DOTM movie and its movie toys!
