A “Beary” Christmas Tree

It’s Boxing Day today and I went out to Orchard Road to check out the sales at the various departmental stores.  I had noticed this interesting “Beary” Christmas Tree at Takashimaya (a departmental store in Orchard Road) for a number of weeks already.  However I never got the chance to take a good photo without having other people blocking it.  I finally seized the opportunity today to take these 2 shots.

Here we have the closed up view of the hundreds of little red, white and green teddy bears that made up the Christmas Tree.  If I’m not mistaken, I think all of these plush bears will be donated to charity after Christmas.  The above closed up photo of the teddy bears somehow reminds me of the Italian flag, that is if you rotate the photo 90 degrees to the right!

    Thanks Joshua! It’s still there at the ground floor where they sell necklaces, brooches etc., next to the escalator that is nearer the entrance door that faces Orchard Road directly :)
