A tip for cleaning My Little Pony toys
Over the years, some of my ponies developed patches of ‘mould’ on their rubbery plastic bodies. Although I kept my ponies in closed cupboards, the local hot and humid climate still caused ‘mould growth’ on some ponies.
A tip for quick and easy cleaning of My Little Pony toys is to use wet tissue (or wet wipes) to wipe off the ‘mould’ and other superficial dirt from their bodies. In this way, I need not use water and end up getting their hair wet, and then having to take a longer time to dry off the pony and its hair.
I started using wet tissue to clean my ponies some time ago when I discovered several packs of unopened wet tissue that were stored and forgotten in my home. Hence I used them on my ponies and they worked perfectly fine!
Some people might find wet tissue wasteful but I only need to clean up my ponies once every quarter, and not every pony needs to be cleaned. Besides, those wet tissue packs were starting to ‘dry up’ so I might as well use them. Wet tissue can also be used to clean off superficial dirt from your action figures and figurine toys effectively and efficiently.
The ponies and toys dry off faster this way and I can keep them back to their cupboards soon after cleaning them. Of course I also wipe their shelves clean before returning the ponies to their ‘homes’. For the shelves, I use a wet cloth instead since the surface area is much larger; and it is easier and more efficient to use a wet cloth.
So there you have it, hope you like the toy cleaning tip provided today!
