Are Ponyville pony toys safe for little kids?
Well, if your kids are under 3 years of age, then definitely no, as stated by Hasbro on the packaging. Nevertheless, I’ve seen very small local children in that age group play with those miniature pony toys and their even tinier pony accessories. The parents and adults accompanying those kids seem nonchalant about the risk of the toys being accidentally swallowed by the tots.
Some parents are just weird. When it is still within their means to supervise their kids at play, they shirk off their responsibilities. If something terribly wrong happens, due to their own fault of not supervising their kids properly in the first place, the parents are quick to blame the toy manufacturer for selling such tiny toys in the market. It is not like the whole market revolves around their precious little tots whom the parents themselves should be responsible for.
The kids here are starting to develop undesirable characters and habits because of over-indulgence by their busy yet doting parents, who use toys to make up for missing out spending quality time with them. In time to come, the kids will grow up and some will retain their bad habits. I shudder to think how the frontline service staff are going to cope with the next generation of ‘customers’.
