Expected in retail stores worldwide from Dec 2011, but uncertain in local departmental stores since the older waves of this toyline haven’t been selling well.  They are expensively priced at SGD 34.90 here.  Collectors are only willing to get them at massive discounted prices, such as at the clearance price of SGD 9.90 per pack. If you wish, you may wish to check out the Sunday Toy Market at China Square Central in Singapore every week for them.

Marvel Universe action figures - wave 17

Expected in retail stores worldwide from Jan 2012, though they have been spotted spotted at the Sunday Toy Market in China Square Central in Singapore since Dec 2011.  The original retail price of these single pack figures is SGD 18.90 each.

Singapore Toys ‘R’ Us (TRU) has started selling all Marvel Universe single packs at SGD 12.90 each, but only very limited variety are left by now.  The local collector’s toy shops may sell these for a range of prices, depending on which figures are rarer per wave.

Other than the set of 5 vintage style Saint Seiya Bronze Saints action figures mint-in-box (MIB) that I have for sale,  I also have a similar set of 12 Saint Seiya Gold Saints action figures for sale.  8 of them are MIB, while the rest are loose, as indicated individually below.

I believe these are re-issues based on the 80s and 90’s Saint Seiya toys, which have some parts of their armor made of metal (for the body, arms & legs armor).  The thinner armor pieces for the shoulders, helmet and ankles are made of gold chrome plastic.  The action figures have peg holes on their limbs and bodies for you to snap on the various pieces of their armor.  The figures all come in Italian packaging (Giochi Preziosi), complete with pictorial instructions manual.

This set of 12 is going for SGD 100.00, with price breakdown of SGD 10.00 per MIB figure, and SGD 5.00 per loose figure.  Hence it adds up to [SGD (10.00 x 8 MIBs) = SGD 80.00 + SGD (5.00 x 4 loose) = SGD 20.00] = SGD 100.00.

Total price may be SGD 105.00 if MIB Virgo figure is selected instead of loose one, as both are available (see below).  All loose figures come with complete accessories, original instructions manuals, plus the front and back covers of their original boxes.
