The G4 My Little Ponies from the popular “Friendship is Magic” cartoon series had celebrated their version of the winter holidays a week earlier in Season 2 Episode 11 - “Hearth’s Warming Eve” - where the “mane 6″ pony characters staged a play to retell the ancient story of how the 3 pony tribes of pegasi, unicorns and earth ponies put aside their long standing feuds and united as friends so as to defeat the evil winter ghosts that brought frost and hunger to the land. At the end of the play, the ponies sang this song as a choir, giving a festive cheer to the pony winter holidays! Enjoy the song!
Here’s another fabulous song is from the G4 My Little Pony Friendship is Magic (FiM)cartoon series - “Becoming Popular” or “The Pony Everypony Should Know”, from the season 2 episode 9, known as “Sweet & Elite”, where 1 of the “mane 6″ pony characters, Rarity, gets the chance to rub shoulders with the rich and famous upperclass unicorn ponies from the royal city of Canterlot.
It has always been Rarity’s dream to be a fashion designer and this is the moment for her to network with prospective clients who would admire and who could afford her work. She begins to spend so much time socializing that she barely has time left to make a birthday dress for her dear friend, Twilight Sparkle.
As she gains popularity in the upper circle, her 5 “down to earth” pony friends (the rest of the “mane 6″ cast) pay her a surprise visit at Canterlot and sort of behaved in “uncouth” manners in front of Rarity’s new found social circle - the elite unicorns. So who does Rarity choose as her true friends?

This is the other My Little Pony (MLP) Friendship is Magic (FiM) toy set in wave 1 of G4 My Little Pony Story Pack toy series. It’s also quite commonly found in the departmental stores here. This set contains Pinkie Pie (one of the Mane six pony characters), and Sweetie Belle (one of the 3 Cutie Mark Crusaders), based on the MLP FiM cartoon series, that just ended its daily run on Okto Channel in Oct 2011.
As the popularity of theMy Little Pony (MLP) Friendship is Magic (FiM)cartoon series takes root in Singapore, the basic single pack pony toys of the Mane six pony characters become harder to find in the local departmental stores.
Hence, the next alternatives would be getting the larger toy sets that contain the Mane six characters, such as Fluttershy here. This is a nice gift set to consider for a child orMLP FiMfan this Christmas:
I have this set and I really like its changing colored lights and music features, and not to mention I get a basic Twilight Sparkle and a Spike figure from it.
Some of these Twinkling Balloon sets come with yellow frills between the balloon and basket sections while others have pink frills. I chose the yellow frill for mine cos I feel yellow looks more cartoon accurate.
This new wave of Gr My Little Pony Friendship is Magic (FiM) toy sets have been spotted at Singapore Toys ‘R’ Us (TRU) last week but none were found in the other departmental stores along Orchard Road. So I assumed that TRU is the first to receive them. I do hope to see other FiM toys that were previously not sold locally to arrive at mass retail too, especially those Canterlot sets that are Target exclusives in the US. Target toys do sometimes make it here, as evident in other past toylines brought in by Hasbro Singapore. So let’s keep put finders crossed for them!
