Domuya Dolls at the Singapore Toy and Comic Convention 2008
Let’s take a look at some of the cool toys that I managed to take photos of during the recent Singapore Toy and Comic Convention 2008 that took place over the weekend.
These are Ball-Jointed Dolls (BJD) at the Domuya Your Doll, Co. booth. The ones here look like manga and Final Fantasy characters and the theme is a little ‘dark’. Nevertheless, they sure attracted lots of attention from visitors and were a favourite with anyone who had a camera!
Here’s another trio of Domuya Dolls that I snapped a photo of. It was quite a challenge to photograph the various toys on display because practically everyone else was doing the same. Hence you had ‘jostle’ for the ‘prime spots’ right in front of the toys to take your photos, and then make way for the next fellow ‘photographer’.
I know nothing about these dolls except that you can customise them in any appearance you want, right down to their facial features, hair etc. Nevertheless, the dolls turned out surprisingly good in the photos, with no one blocking them!
