Fun with figurine display boxes - part 1

Recently I acquired some figurine display boxes to display my Pokemon figurines for sale in my toy lockers.  After I sold off a number of Pokemons, I experimented on the different uses of the display boxes with the small toys in my collection.  Below are my findings:

Ponyville picnic display.

The flat base (Type 1a) figurine display box is great for toy scenes.

Ponyville core 7 characters group display.

The stepped base (Type 1b) figurine display box is suitable for multiple figurines.

Ponyville stacked up display.

The figurine display boxes are designed to be stacked up to save space!

Ponyville postal service display.

The flat base (Type 1a) display box is perfect for storing and displaying Ponyville toys that come in sets!

Ponyville scooter pony display.

The flat base (Type 1a) display box is most useful for organising your Ponyville collections!

Here’s another example of a cute Ponyville scene using the flat base (Type 1a) display box!

G1 Baby My Little Pony display.

I tested the flat base (Type 1a) display box on my G1 Baby My Little Pony and they fit in nicely, though it’s a little ‘cramped’ in there for them!

I also put in the G1 Baby My Little Pony in taller poses and they still fit inside the flat base (Type 1a) display box!

Personally, I don’t store my Ponyville and G1 Baby My Little Pony collection in these display boxes as I can keep more of them in my cupboard.  Nevertheless, the boxes are fantastic for displaying your latest favourite mini toys for weeks in the open without fretting over the dust settling on them.

The flat base (Type 1a) and stepped base (Type 1b) figurine display boxes are widely available at your nearest Daiso store.  They also have other types of display boxes there.  I shall blog more about them tomorrow!

Do you use these figurine display boxes or something similar for your collectible toys etc.?  Feel free to share more about their uses and so forth here!
