Fun with figurine display boxes - part 2

Following yesterday’s blog post about the versatile use of Daiso’s display boxes for small collectible figurines, here are my findings for the other popular smaller sized display boxes from the same store.

Ponyville stacked up display.

Here’s a couple of smaller (I call these ‘Type 2′) display boxes for Ponyville figurines.  Like the Type 1a and Type 1b display boxes featured in  yesterday’s blog post , they can be stacked up to save space!

The smaller Type 2 display box in package.  Being shorter in height than the Type 1a and Type 1b display boxes featured in  yesterday’s blog post , this Type 2 display box is originally designed for mini toy cars.

 Ponyville display.

This Type 3 display box is a variation of the earlier Type 2 display box.  Type 3 display box is slightly smaller (above, 14.1 x 6.9 x 5.9cm), and it also has black plastic panels at the sides.

Justice League Unlimited Zatanna action figure.

Type 3 display box is designed this way to be used vertically for action figures!

I’ve used the above Type 2 and Type 3 display boxes for my Pokemon figurines for sale in my toy lockers and they are great for displaying matching sets of 3 Pokemon figurines in their various 3 evolutionary stages.  For Ponyville, these smaller display boxes are a little too cramped for them.  For 5-inch tall action figures like Justice League Unlimited (e.g. Zatanna above), the box size is just nice!

Personally for me, I find these display boxes too small for my use.  Zatanna would look better if the display box is transparent all round.  I’d love to have cylindrical-shaped acton figure display boxes.  Too bad, I haven’t found them yet..

Do you use these figurine display boxes or something similar for your collectible toys etc.?  Feel free to share more about their uses and so forth here!

    Hi Katsuden,

Thanks and you’re welcome! :D There are many designs available, but all for very small figurines only. Too bad my 3.75-inch action figures are too tall for them :P
