G3 Ponyville Board Game with ‘Core 7′ Ponyville Figures
This Ponyville Board Game containing the ‘Core 7′ Ponyville Figures was spotted in Australia last month and it costs a hefty AUD 39.99 there! A pony collector also spotted this game set in Singapore at one of the departmental stores but that set does not contain any actual Ponyville figures as game counters. Instead it came with cheap looking cardboard pieces in the shape of the ‘Core 7′ Ponyville characters which you prop up with mini plastic stands provided with the game.
I thought that getting the board game for all the ‘Core 7′ Ponyville figures would ultimately be cheaper than collecting all those individual figures by buying all those expensive and bulky accessories sets. Besides, not everyone cares for all those multiples of similar looking accessories. I still don’t have 5 of the ‘Core 7′ Ponyville figures and I’m contemplating whether to collect them or not.
Collecting Ponyville figures is a bit ‘tricky’ because there are some poses that I dislike. All the earth ponies have so far been re-released in multiple poses and it is tedious to pick and choose which accessories sets to buy just for the Ponyville figures in the preferred poses. If this Australian Ponyville board game set is sold in Singapore, I don’t know if I should get it because I think it’s gonna be very expensive, probably at least SGD 49.95!
