G3.5 My Little Pony figures - wave 2.

I came across this photo online and it shows that Hasbro is moving towards expanding the ‘big-headed’ large Ponyville-style My Little Pony figures for this year.

This second wave is almost the same as the first wave, except that now they have added in the inscriptions of the ponies’ names on their bodies. I still prefer the plainer versions from the first wave. I guess this is one way to help the kids remember the names of their beloved My Little Pony!

I haven’t seen this ‘names’ wave of My Little Pony figures in Singapore departmental stores yet, but it is expected to be here anytime soon. Likely scheduled for Q3 of 2009!
