G4 My Little Pony Friends - wave 2 (SGD 10.90 each)

This new wave of “G4″ My Little Pony toys have been spotted at some local departmental stores this week. They are in the same molds as their wave 1 counterparts, except for this wave, each pony now has her name printed on their bodies, which is not a new concept. Hasbro also used such name designs on the previous Core 7 Ponies mold.
I’m not too fond of My Little Pony made in these current “G4″ molds. Their big-headed physique look all right when they are tiny little Ponyville figurines. But as regular sized My Little Pony toys with brushable manes and tails, the big-headed image doesn’t look too flattering on them. Their appearances have also deviated very much from those of real life ponies as well.
Nevertheless, if you are keen or if your kids like them, you can go check them out in the departmental stores. By the way, some departmental stores are having a storewide sale during this period, so you might be able to pick up these ponies and other toys at a discount! Happy toy shopping!
