Iron Man 2 movie 6-inch Iron Man & War Machine action figures
I’ve never seen any of these Hasbro Iron Man 2 Movie 6-inch action figures in person at our local departmental stores. These figures retail for SGD 29.90 here. My scouts told me they were indeed there in the last 2 weeks, but were sold out very quickly, especially War Machine. Today I saw 1 such War Machine figure priced at SGD 45.00 at China Square Central. Hmmm…..

No wonder people are grabbing this figure off the shelves so swiftly like hot loaves freshly taken out of the oven! He really looks way cooler than Iron Man, despite being mostly grey in color. I hope more of him arrive in the departmental stores soon to cater to the fans and collectors who missed out on getting him!
Like Iron Man, War Machine has interchangeable hands, plus huge shoulder cannons and a chain of ammunition to gun down his enemies. Hence, we all get the message and shall stay clear upon seeing him!

In case you are wondering, I doubt the suitcase contains an armour that can really unfold and clip onto the figure like what we saw in the movie. The armour on this Iron Man Mark V figure is molded onto the body already! This Iron Man figure doesn’t have extra weapons, but he still has the interchangeable hands!

Indeed, and then there will be a mad rush to buy extras of them to keep, re-sell, long term invest, open to play, build an army, give to kids as gifts, or can’t help it because they’ve become so freaking cheap, etc. It will never end, LOL!

Perhaps even lower. Even with the lower original retail prices, the stocks are not really flying off the shelves. Too many collectors have learnt the hard and painful money lessons from the past years.

I don’t play with toys anymore. I collect them for their attractive appearances that appeal to me and treat them like “onamental vases”. The main difference is that the toys I collect are not fragile like porcelain that shatter into pieces when dropped onto the floor

3.75-inch figures are already very small. Any smaller and kids will lose them too easily, or worse, swallow them!
