I love Lamborghini sports cars!

This stunning Lamborghini “Number 5″ is my latest aquisition last month during the Great Singapore Sale.  I got it at 20% off in one of the departmental stores.  It’s such a beauty, of course my other Lamborghinis are just as gorgeous too!

I have a penchant for Lamborghini cars ever since I saw a splendid white Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder make a short appearance during last year’s National Day Parade preview (in June 2007). 

I was fortunate to get tickets to watch that National Day Parade preview on the world’s largest floating stage.  While entering the premises, everyone had to walk past the ‘holding area’ for performers and their vehicles.  That white Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder was parked there within easy photo-taking reach!

Then later when I left the grounds after the preview, I had the ‘honour’ of watching the Lamborghini being driven off along a special lane created for it.  It was such a beautiful sight!  There was no sound though because the speed was slow as there were crowds of people walking nearby.

I don’t know why I’m still so in love with that super high-end luxury car.  It’s been a year already and during this period, I always got excited upon seeing a real Lamborghini parked in front of the hotels here, or being driven along the road.  My observations of the past year revealed that these cars tend to frequent Orchard Road, and I usually spot them there on weekend afternoons. 

Needless to say, because of his unexplained sudden obsession over the past year, I picked up a new toy hobby of collecting Lamborghini model cars.  I prefer those made in the 1:24 scale by Bburago due to cost and storage space constraints.  Now I have 5 Lamborghini model cars of this size, of 3 different models (Murcielago, Gallardo & Reventon) and in 4 colors (2 yellow, 1 black, 1 silver & 1 grey).
