My Collector Art Ponies 2009!

They’re here at last, my pair of Collector Art Ponies 2009!  These 2 special edition G3 My Little Pony figures are not sold in the regular departmental stores and have to be imported specially from the USA.  I’m meeting some of my fellow pony collectors this week to pass them their Collector Art Pony orders!

Ocean Pony has a lovely bluish green body which is printed over with an “under the sea” scene on both sides.  Her head is painted white with 3 tiny fishes and some tiny bubbles printed on her forehead.  Her eyes are magenta in color with a white dot, plus a green outline.  Her mane is white, pale blue and light blue in color.  Her tail colors are green, light green and light blue.  Overall Ocean Pony (aka Aqua Marine as I call her) is very cool and a few local pony collectors who chose to buy only 1 of the 2 Collector Art Ponies 2009, opted to get her. 

Now let’s look at Orange Pony (aka Pop Art as I call mine).  Her bold orange colored body looks way better in person!  She wears a brown mask over her eyes and ears, giving her a mysterious image.  The mask has 3 yellow stars on the forehead and blue wing-like designs over the eyes.  There is a galaxy of yellow stars on her back.  Lightning bolts, tiny musical notes, curved stripes that resemble an abstract rainbow and tree branch-like designs ‘radiate’ from her back towards her legs.  The legs spot a large brown lightning bolt while the hooves are brown and ‘frosted’ in white.  If I’m not mistaken, she has an elemental theme.  The mane is light blue and while while the tail is light blue in color.

So which pony is more attractive?  Well they both have their personal style of ‘beauty’ and I like them both!  My own 2 ponies are still Mint-In-Box (MIB).  Their boxes came a little torn at the side so I’ll de-box them eventually.  I have a spare MIB Orange Pony (Pop Art) for sale at SGD 29.90.  Her partner the Ocean Pony has been sold.  Any takers for Pop Art?  If you are keen, please email me via my Contact Me page on this blog!
