My Little Pony Fair 2008 Exclusive Pony

My Little Pony Fair 2008 Exclusive Pony

I got this lovely beauty today and she does look more gorgeous in person.  I took some photos of her but her silver swirl designs reflected the flash light from my digicam, hence she didn’t turn out so nice in the photos.  She has no name and was just known as the “MLP Fair 2008 Pony”.  As she has the word “Providence” on her right hindquarters, some collectors settled for that as her unofficial name.

Honestly I think her colors are way too ‘pink’.  It would help if she had some white streaks in her mane and tail to soften the overwhelming ‘pink’ look.  It’s a good thing that her overall Twice As Fancy (TAF) look makes her more special than the normal regular ponies that have symbols and designs on only one side of their bodies.

I’m still thankful that Hasbro gives its support to My Little Pony fans and collectors by manufacturing different special exclusive ponies each year, for the annual My Little Pony Fairs that are held in the US and the UK every year.  The fairs are organized by collectors and the exclusive ponies are made available to fair attendees only.  I definitely look forward to the continued support from Hasbro in the years to come!

[...] For me, I think that “Bumblebee” is already a name reserved for that famous Transformers character and besides, “Bumblebee” sounds a little too ‘aggressive’ for a pony’s name.  Hence I call mine “Honey Bee”.  She is in fact a color variation of the USA My Little Pony Fair 2008 Exclusive Pinkie Pie Pony.  The fine and intricate designs all over the bodies of these 2 ponies are almost the same, except that the pink version has extra the words “Providence” and “MLP Fair” on her right hindquarters.  Hence I call my pink pony “Providence”.  [...]
