My Little Pony Ponyville figures wave 3
Move over the weird-looking ‘humanoid’ versions of Ponyville figures earlier this year. Here comes wave 3 of Ponyville figures for 2009, and to our relief, they reverted to look more ‘pony’ than ‘human’! Most of the accessories are repainted versions of the ones that came with with the early Ponyville figures in the past years.
Nevertheless, we are glad to see little ponies that stand on 4 legs again! Their mane styles may resemble those of human fashion models or ‘tai-tais’, but it still looks acceptable on them. Besides, these mane wigs are designed to be detached and interchangeable with those of other such Ponyville figures, provided their body poses do not get in the way, LOL!
With Hasbro’s recent attention on Transformers Revenge of the Fallen (ROTF), G.I.Joe and Marvel toylines, I think they put aside their My Little Pony toyline for long enough. It’s time to show the consumers what else is coming for the rest of 2009 for My Little Pony. The pony fans and collectors have been waiting long enough!
