Pony exchange meeting

My Little Pony - Give Kids the World Village Special Edition - Twinkle Hope Pony.

I’ll be meeting a pony collector friend tomorrow to exchange the special edition ponies that we both ordered from the US last month.  I’ll be receiving “Give Kids the World Village Special Edition” Twinkle Hope Pony  from my friend while my friend will be getting ‘Blue Art’ Pony from me.

These 2 ponies actually arrived on the same day last week at both our homes.  According to my friend, Twinkle Hope looks quite good in person.  At least she comes in a normal regular store pony box, unlike ‘Blue Art’ Pony who comes in a large ’special collector’s edition’ box, which only serves to take up more space than it should.

After our pony exchange, we’ll probably check out the departmental stores in Orchard Road for the latest new toys, if any, on the shelves.  It had been a quite while since we got together for a pony meet.

In other larger countries, toy collectors travel miles to meet up at least once a year for toy meets events.   Here in Singapore where most of us live not more than an hour of public transport from the city area, we should meet up more frequently.  Besides, it’s also a form of socialising.
