Ponyville accessories color variants
This latest 2009 Rainbow Dash single pack is found to come in variant accessories colors for the eggs, pies and pie boxes that come with it. Each single pack comes with a small box of half a dozen eggs, a 3/4 pie, a pie box and a drink carton. It is observed that the eggs and egg boxes come in white, as well as pink and yellow. The pie and pie boxes also come in pink, yellow and white.
Looking at the 3 variant single packs above, I believe that the actual correct colors for the eggs and pie are white and yellow respectively. The pie box should have been pink, while the drink carton stays as orange. Looking at the 3 available color combinations above, the 3rd one with yellow eggs, white pie and yellow pie box looks the most believable, after all most of the chicken eggs in Singapore are beigy in color!
The 3rd photo shows the white eggs, white pie and pink pie box. So there are 4 different combinations of variant colors for this Rainbow Dash Ponyville single pack. Anyway, the variant colors don’t really bother me that much. I won’t be collecting this latest ‘humanoid’ Ponyville series. I dislike the fact that they don’t look so pony-like that they ought to be!
