Pre-order updates for Collector Art Ponies 2009
Pre-order for this set of 2 unique looking Collector Art My Little Pony figures are available at Entertainment Earth and Hasbro’s (”Pop” and “Underwater” ponies”) websites, this time complete with their respective photos! Shipping is expected around late May 2009. The main difference is that Entertainment Earth ships internationally while Hasbro Toy Shop does not. However the latter has a discount code (MLP9) for online My Little Pony purchases.
One thing for sure, I’m very happy to note that both the Collector Art Ponies for 2009 have painted eyes. The nameless ‘underwater’ pony, which I shall call “Aqua Marine”, looks nicer than her orange-colored and also nameless counterpart. I shall call the orange pony “Pop Art”. Pop Art looks like she’s wearing some sort of mask on her, making her fit in with the comic book theme. I hope both ponies have the body symbols painted on both sides of their bodies though.
Once again like the Blue Art Collector Pony from last year, the Art Collector Ponies for 2009 also come packaged in oversized boxes that are printed in similar designs as the ponies’ symbols. I prefer the ponies out of their boxes and I can’t wait to take them out once I get mine in a few month’s time!
