ROTF Deluxe action figures - wave 8.

Deluxe Class - wave 8 (SGD 27.90 each)

Top Row (from left): Gears & Armorhide.

Middle Row: Dirge.

Bottom Row (from left): Tuner Mudflap & Alliance Bumblebee.

We’ve been facing a “drought” of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen (ROTF) toys lately.  Our last and current wave of ROTF Deluxe toys in Singapore have been wave 6, which contains Arcee, Stalker Scorponok and Swerve.  We haven’t see wave 7 (containing Gears and Thrust) in the stores yet. 

Nevetheless, we take a look at wave 8 which contains yet more repaints and some off-screen characters.  You can view the video reviews of Dirge and Armorhide here. 

I’m completely skipping this wave.  Even though I like movie Bumblebee, this Alliance version or variant just doesn’t cut it for me.  How about you?  Are you planning on getting any ROTF Deluxe action figures from wave 8?

Latest Update: Waves 7 & 8 have arrived in Singapore departmental stores in Nov & Dec 2009 respectively!

      Armorhide looks so cool!!! It would be great to add into my collections. Currently i only collected Deluxe Sideswipe and Human Alliance Bumblebee. Doesnt have much credits to purchase many…

      P.S. Its a great blog you had there. I gained alot of info and much needed details here. I got it tag into my google reader. Keep up the good work. ^^

      I think the normal ROTF Deluxe Mudflap is nicer looking :)

      Hi Juliana!

      I would only Aim for Dirge(New mold), To compliment my Thrust, then Armorhide, I like the repaint, and the mold used was Landmine’s from the first movie, which is my favorite deluxe from the previous line! And I might stll get Alliance bumblebee, I’d prefer Bee with black limbs compared to the movie preview version.

      Among those 4, I only got Dirge, coz he is the only new mold among them, Bee and the others are just repaints(But Bee and Armorhide are good repaints, yo!). And for a deluxe size jet-former, Dirge exceeds my expectations, he looks like a moviefied version of the G1 Conehead Seeker Design(Looks kinda like G1 Starscream, but the heads have the nosecone, hence, Conehead Seeker), and The transformation is complex but not hard(21 Steps, yo!), and he is pretty poseable too… Try getting him Juliana, you might like him, and he complements ROTF Thrust, coz they are partners in G1 Cartoon.
