ROTF Deluxe action figures waves 1-3
The following ROTF toys are now available in our local departmental stores since their official launch on 30th May 2009!
Deluxe Class (SGD 27.90 each):
Wave 1 (Preview wave): Bumblebee & Soundwave.
Wave 2: Sideways, Breakaway, Rampage & Sideswipe.
Wave 3: Autobot Wheels (aka Wheelie), Chromia, Smokescreen, Skids & Desert Brawl.

Preliminary popularity observations during the first 2 days of the ROTF toy launch over the weekend indicate that Sideswipe is the clear hot favourite with both kids and collectors! He’s usually the fewest in numbers at most stores, unless that store had just stocked up on the Deluxe figures.
Yes, even the kids are after this very attractive silver Autobot. And the kids have raised their toy standards too - they want to choose only “scratch-free” Sideswipes! I’ve personally come across 2 of such kids in different stores. The first kid had to contend with the last piece of Sideswipe (which very minor faint scratch marks) at that store, while the second kid asked the store personnel to bring out all the other Sideswipes kept in the storage cupboard at a toy fair, for him to choose a “scratch-free” piece!
So Hasbro, don’t think that kids these days would settle for less than perfect toys. Even though their parents fork out the money, the kids still want flawless pieces, which I assure you, is a rarity among this current local batch of ROTF Deluxe Sideswipe action figures. I hope the subsequent ones will be much better!
And hence the silvers take the early popularity lead, followed by (in no particular order) the greens, blues and yellows. The potential shelf warmers look to be the browns and greys. In some places, the grey satellites are also falling in numbers. You know which figures I’m referring to. If not, just look at their above photos! Happy ROTF toy hunting!
Update: There are 2 variants for the following: Preview Bumblebee - either detachable or non-detachable arm missile launcher! Breakaway - either light beige or dark metallic brown. Sideways - either dark or light grey color!

My feedbacks on those figures coz I got some of them…
Preview ROTF BEE: Nice head, really looks like what we see in the movie, and I like the car mode, but the missile was hard to load, and the head… Argh the head!!! likes to pop off a lot at the slightest turn!
Soundwave: I like this… My Decepticons can’t be complete without this guy, and I like the vehicle mode, even if the satellite mode was just turning the wings then you got it, but it’s nice, but small.
Sideways and Breakaway: I know you might have also seen their variants in the malls, the darker versions that is, Sideways is very poseable, and looks like a Robot Vampire! However, his mech alive is weak. Breakaway has a cute head! And it’s time the Autobots needed some more airpower!
Rampage: Unique for a TF to have quad legs, the thread whips look good, the head is nice, vehicle is well detailed, but he lacks elbows though.
Sideswipe: One of my favorites! He is actually hard to pose at first coz of the wheel feet, but once you get the hang of it, you can give him crazy poses!
Deep Desert Brawl: You told me he was cute, well, he is still cute, but now in Desert Camouflage colors! and Orange eyes!
Chromia: For now she is a Pegwarmer, but while she is still there, get her! then once Arcee and the pink Motorcycle(my buddies call her Moonracer), coz I read that the three bikegirls has a combination!
Skids: Small, but don’t let the size fool you, coz he is a complex TF to transform!
That is my opinions about those figs, top priority is Sideswipe!!!

I only have Preview ROTF BEE and Sideswipe in this 3 waves 
I think your Preview BB might be faulty and I’ve read about this head popping off issue in the TF forums. Mine doesn’t have a loose head. There are also some Preview BBs whose missile launcher arm keeps dropping off. Another batch has missile launcher arm that is non-detachable, hence you can swivel the arm without having the missile launcher pop off. Hasbro QC issues here…
Yeah, that’s why I returned my Preview Bee, and thankfully, I got a better one.
Get Chromia too while she is still a pegwarmer, coz I predict once Arcee and Moonracer are out, she will be HTF already!

I’m skipping the ROTF Deluxe bikes. I’ve already got ROTF Scout Knock Out and he’s enough for now. There’s still a Human Alliance (HA) Arcee coming with Mikaela and Skids
