ROTF EZ TakaraTomy Legends Devastator toy video review

Here’s a cool video review of the popular EZ TakaraTomy Legends Devastator.  No wonder so many people like him so much that demand far outstrips supply, and it’s made worse by a sudden ‘unexplained’ halt in stocks after the first batch sold out within a week of arriving in Singapore.  They first became available for sale here at selected collector toy shops around 2 weeks ago.  Secondary prices for him now is reported to be about twice his original retail value!  If we are patient, I think the Hasbro version will eventually hit our local departmental stores. 

Some other fans and collectors mentioned about this cute little guy to the staff at a departmental store that I frequent.  If the Hasbro ones are individually packed as well, then the store personnel might package some of their stocks to sell in sets of 7 Constructicons only.  If not some of their customers are gonna hassle them to call other outlets etc., to check for stocks availability and be on waiting lists; should any of the 7 Contructicons get sold out ‘unevenly’ through deliberate or coincidental purchases by others.

So far there have been no sightings of the Hasbro Legends Devastator available at retail in Singapore or at any part of the world.  Word on the street is that if they do become available at our departmental stores, it will be near the end of the year, probably quite close to Christmas.  Maybe before that, the re-stocks for the EZ TakaraTomy ones will be here.  For overseas buyers, you can purchase EZ TakaraTomy Legends Devastator online and this website ships internationally too!  Happy ROTF toy hunting!

      Saw the complete Hasbro version of this the other day. I think the dupe was Demolisher.

      Cute I guess, and certainly, it succeeds where even the Supreme or the Voyagers & Deluxes failed in terms of being able to transform and combine. But alas, not a Legends guy myself.

      The closest I ever got to getting a Legends was Wheelie though, so there’s no accounting for taste on my end.

      You mean you saw the Hasbro version of Legends Devastator? Where did you see it and what’s the price? And ROTF Legends Wheelie is out too? Never even heard of it yet…

      Saw the Hasbro Legends Devastator for RM199 (or about 82SGD), consisting of 8 pieces with the duplicate being Demolisher.

      As for Wheelie, I meant the G1/Universe version.

      Cool thanks! Then the Hasbro Legends Devastator set should be available worldwide anytime soon! :D

      But I wonder what’s the extra Demolishor for? To build broader shoulders for Devastator? :P

      Thanks for the clarification for Legends Wheelie. Perhaps there will be a ROTF version some day too :)

      I can’t tell that the Legends OP and Meg in the photo are the battle damaged versions :P

      Btw, is HA Skids w/Arcee & Mikaela out in the Philippines yet? One of my blog readers wants to know :)

      I have not seen the HA Skids at stores the last time I checked around a week ago(I’m guessing they already came out at the TRU outlets, I haven’t made my rounds yet).

      However, I read at the Cybertron Philippines Website that the HA Skids will be available at the “Hall of Heroes” event to be held at Robinsons Manila from Sept. 19-20.
