ROTF Gathering At The Nemesis box set in Singapore!
For fans and collectors who are keen to collect this blue repaint of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen (ROTF) Deluxe Soundwave action figure, he has been seen selling at our local Toy ‘R’ Us (TRU) outlets for some weeks already.
Blue Soundwave comes with a dull grey repaint of Transformers The Movie (TFTM) Voyager Megatron, and ROTF Voyager The Fallen. The price for this box set of 3 is SGD 119.90. See more detailed online photos here!
As this ROTF box set is treated like a controlled item, it is displayed at the locked glass cabinets. There will be a number label placed in front or beside the display box set. If you wish to buy it, you’ll need to take a matching number label placed on top of the display cabinet to make your payment at the cashier first.
After payment, the staff will bring out a new piece from the storeroom for you. I hear that this method is used to prevent such “collector’s items” packaging from being damaged by little kids, malicous adults and careless shoppers. Heya.. I don’t know about you but I am actually pretty disgusted with the price tag of this 3-piece giftset. Everyone’s only ever interested in the Soundwave, him being in his original G1 colors.
You can get him loose if you just want him and nothing else.

I was expecting this box set to cost more if you add up the individual prices of each item. Now I realise why ROTF Voyager The Fallen was so short packed in the normal Voyager waves - Hasbro wants to create a “demand” for this box set.
They should have released a ROTF Voyager Megatron in more movie accurate colors instead of this one.
If you can get a loose blue Soundwave only, that’s great! For people who have none of these 3 figures, then this box is more suited for them to buy. . .
I liked the colours on the ‘original’ ROTF soundwave so much so that i picked it up even tho he seemed shorter than the regular deluxes and the fact that he didn’t really ‘transform’ an alt mode. the cybertronian jet mode does look cool tho

(hoping prime will be on sale since the store has a 30% discount thing going). we only recently got 4 ‘new’ deluxes, canon BB, interrogater barricade, rampage and mudflap. having said that… 1 soundwave is enuff and i think i got the better one 
we never have waves here. these toys just turn up as and when they do. there are hardly any ‘toys r us’ kind of stores. in fact, just this sunday i spotted the leader class optimus prime and jetfire here
