ROTF Human Alliance Bumblebee with Sam action figures in Singapore!

This highly anticipated Transformers Revenge of the Fallen (ROTF) box set has arrived in Singapore stores this week! Yes, Human Alliance (HA) Bumblebee and Sam action figures have been spotted so far at Toys R’ Us (TRU), retailing at a hefty price tag of SGD 69.90 each! I know these guys have been on the radar of many ROTF toy collectors here, including me! Well, here they are!

There were more than 30 boxes on all the 3 shelves dedicated to HA Bumblebee with Sam! If you are keen to pick up one, be sure to do the usual paint job inspection, especially on the side mirrors, the stripes, Sam’s face and practically every corner from all angles that you can possibly examine from. Most pieces are quite all right, but you still need to check as many boxes as you can to get a satisfactory piece.

One thing to note for every Human Alliance (HA) Bumblebee out there is that part of the rear windscreen isn’t painted yellow! From the photo above, can you see that tiny triangular blue part near his rear stripes? That part is supposed to be painted in yellow right? The toy review videos of HA Bumblebee posted on YouTube also have this omission but I don’t recall any of the reviewers pointing it out. Other than that and its price, this HA Bumblebee (around Voyager class size) makes a great addition for any ROTF toy collector.
Here’s a video toy review of HA Bumblebee with Sam action figures, that describes and shows the transformation process for Bumblebee and his ‘battle’ features. Please note that although this video review shows that HA Bumblebee’s chest panels keep ’springing’ back into bonnet shape, the reviewer later manages to rectify that issue and he confirms that the chest panels are indeed able to stay in place as ’separated’ pieces while HA Bumblebee is in robot mode. With these, happy ROTF toy hunting!

I definitely want this piece. But I have to do a comparison between the Hasbro and Takara version before deciding to get it
Hi deSMOnd,
Let me know if there are noticeable differences between the Hasbro and Takara versions, plus the Takara price too!
Okie..but I guess we need to wait for a while as Takara has not released these figures yet..
I only know that this BB is bigger than Deluxe class. Im going to wait should I get it. I foresee they will be plenty to go about.
Just watch 2nd round of ROTF, the heat still keep on rising in the cinema…
& I brought HABB back to home today!
for a 1.5 voyager class, & 0.75 leader class, this HABB really worth every penny on it.
It can pose so many posture, remember in the trailer after Sam shouts BB, then BB appears & 1 kneel on floor & keep shooting? this HABB able to re-present the scene 100%.
Furthermore, sam actually can co-op with HABB in 4 ways(1 in car mode, 3 in bot mode)that’s the pro side.
initially, the only thing I dislike is the leg, but soon I realize the leg is design like this to let us clearly differentiate the battle mode & normal mode.
The transformation is complicated(good for us), the joint is intact(feel tighter than v-class ironhide).
For me, the grab in hand feel is far more beyond just see in picture feel. Recommended to have it… though don’t know how’s the takara version. But I think this time the mold is all the same, may be slightly vary by paint job only.
Hi deSMOnd,
Thanks!
Hi LEon,
I think there will be re-stocks, but HABB’s also on most local ROTF toy collectors’ want list. If you can find a place with a good discount on him, can pick him up!
Hi Reagan,
Wow, thank you so much for your review of HABB!
He’s a hot favourite among ROTF toy collectors who have him, and who do not have him yet!
And he’s only the first of the HA sub-toyline to come. There’s still Sideswipe w/Sgt Epps, Skids & Arcee w/Mikaela etc. Gotta save up more money for these…
[...] he’s got quite movie accurate feet, complete with the spurs not seen in his Deluxe or Human Alliance toys. His right arm is a cannon with light blue color inside, showing that it’s activated [...]
hello all. could someone please list some places where i can get this? cuz’ some places seem to have sold out.
i’m an 18year old girl studying in a jc and i love the transformers but people around me think i’m crazy/childish. oh well.
Hi Germaine,
Hi Germaine, welcome to my blog! You’re not alone in liking TFs
List of places still selling HA BB are most TRU outlets, OG Orchard, and collector toy shops like Simply Toys (outlets at Plaza Sing, Raffles Place MRT Staion & Suntec City).
hello. (:
your blog is so cool and i gotta thank you and the other toy collectors for providing more info about the stuff i want! hmm can i also get their comics from there?
Hi Germaine,
You’re welcome!
Comics are mostly found in comic shops (the ones selling US comics in English language and not the ones selling Jap Manga comics).
Watching the movie is already enough for me to craze over TFs, no need the comics
Hi,
Im sorry if Im bringing back an old topic, but has anyone compared the Hasbro and Takara version of the Human Alliance toys yet? Are there any significant differences between the two?
Hi Georgatron,
I haven’t come across anyone who did a comparison between the Hasbro and Takara HA toys too. .
Hi Juliana,
Thanks for the reply. If my information is correct, there is no real difference between the Takara and Hasbro version except for the instructions sheet which is Japanese in the Takara version and English in the Hasbro version. Ive read that the toys for both versions come from the same factory but gets different packaging depending if its for the Japan or the US Market. The Takara version gets the Takara sticker in front and bottom of the box. Thats about it
Hi Georgatron,
Thanks for the clarification, that’s what I believe so too!

Hey I bought this a week ago but in the version I have Sam has brown hair and a white top……
Why the hell are there two versions of the figure?
Hi John,
I guess Hasbro wants to entice people to buy this set again to get a variant Sam figure, LOL!
I’m happy with my first version Sam figure
