ROTF Leader Jetfire II & Buster Optimus Prime II 2-pack in Singapore!
The new year has brought about these 2 ‘giants’ of the Transformers Revenge of the Fallen (ROTF) toyline! Yes, they have been sighted by a local Transformers collector at a collector’s toy shop in Singapore. It cost about USD 106.00 (or approx SGD 150.00) for this 2-pack.
ROTF Leader Buster Optimus Prime II in the 2-pack has a masked face, or the fans prefer to describe as “has a mouth plate”. His single pack predecessor, ROTF Leader Buster Optimus Prime I, doesn’t have the “mouth plate”. ROTF Leader Jetfire II is a repaint of the first version. Now there are quite a few Leader class Optimus Prime toys to choose from, and their prices are getting more attractive. I hope my eventual selection will be available when I go shopping for him some time this month!

I would certainly get these two if I saw it on SALES. Who knows maybe they will be selling this pack less than $99 SGD in days to come. One can only hope.

I’m likely to get the single pack Buster OP w/o the mouth plate. All my other movie Autobots are unmasked anyway, so it seems better to be able to see his face like the rest

Other than the places mentioned in my email, another source is the Sunday Toy Market at China Square Central.

Many toy stalls and shops there still sell it, plus you might be able to negotiate
the price. The downside is that you get more choices on Sundays only.

I think only the toy shops at China Square Central and perhaps Simply Toys still have these, but possibly priced at the original retail price of SGD 199.90 or higher by now.
I’m looking for those too.
I can’t seem to locate them at CSC or Plaza Singapura.
I would love it if anyone finds one and let me know asap.

Oh dear. I didn’t see this set at the above places this month too. They were also spotted at Metro Causeway Point last month, but the boxes were quite battered and the prices were still at SGD 199.90. Not sure if they are still there.
