ROTF Legends action figures - wave 3.

Legends Class - Wave 3 (SGD 11.90 each):

Top Row - Jetfire, Optimus Prime & Bumblebee.

Bottom Row - Mudflap, Grindor, The Fallen & Enforcer Ironhide.

The next wave of Transformers movie - Revenge of the Fallen (ROTF) Legends action figures are in town now! They have been spotted at our local departmental this week. The new characters consist of Mudflap, Grindor, The Fallen & Enforcer Ironhide, while Jetfire, Optimus Prime & Bumblebee are repeated ones from the earlier ROTF Legends waves.

Mudflap doesn’t looks as ‘hideous’ as his Deluxe counterpart. Grindor is a repaint of Blackout from the first Transformers movie toyline. The Fallen looks so adorable in this small size and his jet mode ain’t bad looking when you see it in person. And The Fallen is in metallic dark grey color, which looks better than the Voyager version!

For the popularity race, The Fallen should lead, followed closely by Mudflap, Grindor and then Ironhide. In some stores, only Ironhide and Grindor are left, an early indication that they are the likely shelf and peg warmers. Truthfully, movie Ironhide looks way better in black. I wonder if 2 fast food compenies can win the rights to sell ROTF toys in a country at the same time? I think the US and UK don’t have the KFC ROTF toys. So far only Asian countries have the KFC ROTF toys, while Jolibee in the Phlippines have their own unique ROTF toys set.

BK in Singapore has been stagnating in its toy variety for a very long time. It used to have the rights to Marvel (X-Men), Ice Age and Transformers toys. Now the rights are won by its competitors.

If the BK ROTF Bumblebee toy is not available in local fast food outlets, I may import it. It’s looks very nice

The red and Black on Ironhide is so…. It does not fit him! The G1 and Universe versions, the red will surely work, but for Movie Ironhide, nahh… I did not even like the ROTF Voyager coz of the gray! That’s why I won’t let go of my TF Movie 1 Premium Ironhide!

Also that is a stock Hasbro Photo of wave 3 legends right? I think the photographer or the photo editor was sleepy coz Jetfire is displayed with Megatron’s Altmode!

Actually, I think Legends Fallen looks real good for a smallish figure!

Yeah I still like Legends and Voyager Ironhide to be black in color like in the movie. It took me a long while to find my TF Movie 1 Voyager Ironhide that I’m not letting him go!

You’re very observant on spotting that Legends Megatron tank that sneaked into the photo! They once paired ROTF Voyager Ironhide & The Fallen together. They amended it soon after though. Overall EE.com uses the best catalog photos for most toylines

And yes, ‘Baby Fallen’ as I like to call him, is very cute! His colors are quite close to the movie version too..

Hmmm, I’m skipping Tankor as I don’t find blue a suitable color for a tank. I wonder if he’s semi-aquatic?

Re-con BB looks quite special and you can’t really tell much difference from the regular Legends BB in robot mode!

Hi again Juliana,

Finally got my Legends Class Wave 3, there was this ROTF event last Saturday held at SM Mega Mall, one of the biggest malls in our country. Also got the Mudflap & Skids RPMs (non-transforming diecast cars, the images of the robots are located in the under carriage, which to me looks like they got run over, hehe). All the ROTF items had a 10% discount. There was a long line for the “chase items” like the deluxe Jolt.

I also got some nice freebies, autobot/decepticon hard plastic masks, dog tags and stickers.

Wow, you get a discount plus ROTF freebies, that’s very good! While stocks last I suppose? The usual freebies given by our local dept stores are posters, which is better than none
