Transformers Revenge of the Fallen (ROTF) Voyager Bludgeon toy video review
This is 1 interesting ROTF toy that’s expected at retail soon. ROTF Voyager Bludgeon is not to be confused with ROTF Deluxe Bludgeon. Both toys are essentially the same character that are made in different molds. Neither Bludgeons were featured in the ROTF movie. Voyager Bludgeon’s in the same off-screen ROTF universe as ROTF Voyager Jungle Attack Ironhide.
There is apparently an add-on continuation of the ROTF movie storyline involving the NEST team, but this story continues off-screen within the toyline. It’s quite a similar concept to the movie tie-in “All Spark” toy storyline used for Transformers The Movie (TFTM). That storyline had Deluxe Stealth (black color) Bumblebee as part of its toyline, remember?
Basically these movie tie-in toy storylines are used to sustain interest in the movie Transformers toys till the next Transformers movie comes along in July 2011. We can expect lots of repaints coming, though some new characters could be in new molds. We shall wait and see what else Hasbro has planned and prepared for the fans and toy collectors!
