Time to begin Christmas shopping

Just a gentle reminder - It’s already November and in one and a half month’s time, it will be Christmas.  Many toy forums members have already began finding gifts for their Christmas gifts swap partners.

If you have gifts to ship overseas, then you better start your Christmas shopping earlier.  The international postal service will be expected to be busier during November and especially in December, than the rest of the year.

There may be an economic slowdown now but the festive gift giving and exchanging is expected to proceed.  The value of the gifts might be lower but the volume should be about the same, so it’s still gonna tax the international shipping services.  Hence don’t wait till it’s too late to send out your gifts to overseas recipients!

Yup! no matter what, we will still celebrate X’mas even of the economic downturn. Maybe not much spending on toys but on X’mas gifts and food. To me, I still hope the economic will be recover soon to avoid paying expensive freight charges on any merchandise imported from overseas.

I use http://www.BongoUS.com to ship overseas- they may be helpful to some of you during crunch time this holiday season.

They are a parcel forwarding company for international consumers in need of a US Street Address. They ship via air mail and your goods can get anywhere around the globe in less than a week.
Great site with info and chat for Qs too.

Happy Holidays Juliana and everyone else :)

    Hi Desmond,

Despite my optimism about the economy’s recovery, technical data and world news still show that this economic downturn is gonna last at least the next 3-5 years.

So we have to more prepared to ride out this credit crunch crisis for a longer period…
