Toy collecting tip of the day - 6
Protect your toys from kids, pets and smoke. The parts about the kids and pets have been addressed in my previous blog post. Then there is also the lingering smell of cigarette smoke that can manage to ‘attach’ to your toys, especially if they have been kept in a home occupied by smokers for a period of time. Smoke smell on your toys can be quite tricky to get rid of.
If you have intention to sell off your toys in the future, then take note that smoke smell on toys can put off prospective buyers. If you plan to sell your toys online, you’ll need to declare if your toys for sale are from a smoke-free home or not. This will put your buyers at ease. There are people like me who cannot stand the smell of smoke in the air, and also on my possessions.
