‘Toy drought’ before Christmas

I’m currently experiencing a ’toy drought’ at the local departmental stores.  Usually I would be a bit frustrated to find nothing new at the stores but recently, I have been quite relieved by it.  It gives me time to save up for the upcoming year-end Christmas sales, though my Christmas budget is smaller this year.

Keep eyes on the newspapers, for there will be upcoming ads on pre-Christmas sales by all the departmental stores.  This time of the year is their biggest sale time and the last festive period left for the year to boost their revenues for 2008.

I still have a couple of toys on my want list and I’ll also be searching for them online.  Hopefully I get to clear my current want list by this year and start ‘afresh’ on my toy collecting for next year!  Happy bargain shopping to all toy collectors!

This should be a win-win situation for sellers and buyers during the current economic crisis. Have to keep buying stuff to boost the local economic. If no buyings and lots of savings, it will make the economic worst. We just need to be more selective then..Haha!!
