Toys redeemed at the Singapore Toy and Comic Convention 2008 for sale!

It’s official, and I have decided to put up my ‘harvests’ that I ‘reaped’ from the Singapore Toy and Comic Convention (STCC) 2008 last month, for sale.  I realise that I lack the space to keep them and I do not need them.  They are all mint-in-package (MIP) as shown below:

All the items in the above photo are for sale in one lot, and I prefer not to break them up into smaller lots.

On the top left: we have ‘Blank’ Tofu figure by Play Imaginative, and Gundam: Gunpla Collection figure MIB by Bandai. 

This vintage Gundam figure is a build-it-yourself kit which is completely white with no stickers, and so you have to add the colors yourself.

On the left: we have Magic The Gathering cards: Duel Decks - Elves vs Goblins, by Wizards of the Coast. 

According to the STCC 2008 events guide book, this box consists of “2 ready-to-play decks developed specifically for bashing against each other.  The decks feature Elves and Goblins - the most popular tribes in the Magic: The Gathering universe.”

On the right: we have Mugen by Chuang Yi Publishing, The Vivisect Playset: Ledkins by STRANGEco, and Magic The Gathering cards: Elvish Predation.

Mugen is a magazine compilation of over 200 pages “showcasing the works of 10 selected finalists chosen in the First-Time Writers & Illustrators Publishing Initiative.  Mugen features the maiden comic creations of those talented artists, serving both as a platform to gain exposure and experience, while giving readers a variety of fresh and exciting comics to choose from!”

The Vivisect Playset is “a collaborative character designed by 2 of today’s brightest art stars, Joe Ledbetter and Greg Simkins.  The toy series is based on an annual art exhibition at Gallery 1988 and thematically focuses on the dissection and reconstruction of animals to demonstrate human emotions.”

Bottom: Battle B-Daman Comic book Issue 1, MIP.  Story and art by Eiji Inuki, Takara. 

Comic summay: “Yamato Deigado is a young boy burning with a powerful B-DaSpirit.  He lives a peaceful life with his foster mother Mie in a quiet little town.  However, a meeting with the mysterious man called Gray, who is searching for the Legend Stones, throws him into the first of many B-DaBattles to come!  Will this boy survive this adventure filled with excitement, challenges and danger?  His journey begins right here, right now!”

All items in the above photos (you can have the passport card too if you want), are going for only SGD 50.00, considering the hours I had to queue for 3 different sessions during the super crowded toy convention.  I prefer Singaporean buyers as the heavy decks of cards and comics would be costly to ship overseas, unless the overseas buyer is all right with it.  For both local and overseas buyers, please email me through this blog at http://www.julianaheng.com/contact_me/ .
