TFA toys at Singapore McDs.

I saw the news from LEon’s blog post today and had to share it here at my blog too!  Thanks LEon for the notification!

Side comments:  

The pathetic picture on the Singapore McDonalds website is so tiny that people can hardly read the names of the individual toys.  Is it too much to ask their web developer to allow the picture to be enlarged for clearer viewing?  After all we toy bloggers are promoting the toy offer for them!

Luckily the Transformers fans can tell from the photos which robots are on offer.  But it will be nice if the names can be read as well.  If not, they should at least write a caption below the photo to give their names.  

And once again the McDonalds Happy Meals promotion is offering 2 sets of toys, for boys and girls.  The background colors of the above 2 sets of toys make it so gender stereotyped. 

I wonder what is it with the people behind the gender segregation toy promotion, again?  Do they honestly think that girls won’t want to play with Transformers toys? 

When the set of 12 Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (MMPR) toys (to coincide with the Power Rangers movie in the cinemas then) came out as McDs toys in the 90’s, they were all highly coveted by both boys and girls.

Anyway back to the Transformers Animated (TFA) toys, we are only having 4 out of the 6 toys that were offered in the US sometime in 2008.  Well for the fans and collectors here, this is still better than having none at all. 

The Happy Meal promotion starts this week.  If you are keen on getting any of the above toys, go grab your Happy Meals and toys today!  Happy munching on those fast food, and putting on more weight, all in the glory of fast food toys pursuit!

      I saw the actual toys at a McDs outlet yesterday - they are very small :P

      I think some McDs outlets still have the Goat / Sheep Doraemon toy this week. At most, you can head down to CSC in the coming weeks to find it :)
