Weekend trip to the retail malls - part 2

I was pleasantly surprised to pick up the Justice Lord Hawkgirl action figure at Toy ‘R Us on this weekend, and at a sale price too!  I thought that I would not be able to complete my Justice Lords collection as I did not think that the Hawkgirl action figure will be sold in the retail stores here in Singapore (I was reluctant to pick her up at China Square Central resale toy market or import her myself). 

I already have Justice Lords Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman that I bought here a few years ago.  The other 3 Justice Lords; Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter and ‘alternate’ Flash (not technically a Justice Lord), have been sold here for a few years already and I could still find some leftover stock in the stores sometimes.  Immediately after securing my Justice Lord Hawkgirl figure, I rushed over to another departmental store just across Orchard Road and grabbed the last piece of Justice League 3-figures pack containing the remaining 3 Justice Lords figures that I needed to complete my collection! 

Recently, I thought of selling off my entire Justice League collection because I still lack so many pieces.  While taking their photos for my toy catalog last week, I found that I still like them very much.  Perhaps I could downsize my collection to the core 7 original Justice League members, and their Justice Lords counterparts only.  If you are confused on what I am blogging about, well you need to be a Justice League cartoon and toy fan to understand this post…

I have not gotten over my excitement about finding Justice Lord Hawkgirl.  Till now, she and the other 3 new Justice Lords action figures are still MOC in my room.  I will keep them that way for a few days before ‘releasing’ them to ‘terrorize’ my other Justice League action figures, like what they did in the Justice League cartoon episodes ‘A Better World’.  My Justice League toys are going to have their toy world ‘turned upside down’ by the Justice Lords soon.  The Justice Lords figures are way more ‘aggressive’ than Justice League villains and the former are also prepared to ‘take lives’ when necessary…
